Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

iLuvRESUME is a free, browser-based resume builder. We provide resume editing tools, professionally designed templates, and PDF export functionality — all without requiring an account.

2. Information we collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate the service:

• Server access logs — standard HTTP logs including your IP address, browser user-agent, the URL requested, and a timestamp. These are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention, then deleted automatically.
• PDF generation requests — when you click "Download PDF", your resume data is sent to our server, rendered to PDF in memory, and returned to you. The data is never written to disk or stored in any database.

We do not collect: names, email addresses, resume content (outside of the transient PDF request described above), analytics events, or behavioural data.

3. Local storage

Your resume data — including personal details, work experience, education, skills, and any other sections you fill in — is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data is only accessible by your own browser. iLuvRESUME's servers have no access to it.

Clearing your browser data or localStorage will delete your saved resume. We recommend downloading a PDF copy as a backup.

4. Cookies

iLuvRESUME does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. We store a single item in localStorage to remember your light/dark theme preference.

5. Third-party services

iLuvRESUME loads the following third-party resources:

• Google Fonts — font files are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google may log these requests. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.), session-recording tools, or social media pixels.

6. Data retention

Server access logs are retained for 30 days, then deleted. PDF generation data is never persisted — it exists only for the duration of the HTTP request. Resume data in your browser's localStorage persists until you clear it yourself.

7. Your rights

Because we don't store any personally identifiable information server-side, most data-subject rights (access, erasure, portability) are exercised entirely within your browser — simply clear your localStorage to delete your resume data. 8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of iLuvRESUME after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
